Magnesium chloride for industry use is the magnesium chloride named by magnesium chloride manufacturers according to the use and grade. The content of magnesium chloride for industry use ranges from 43% to 47%, which is different from food grade magnesium chloride and medical magnesium chloride.
Compared with medical and food grade magnesium chloride, magnesium chloride for industry use is relatively more, and the price of industrial grade magnesium chloride is much cheaper.
The parameters of magnesium chloride for industry use generally require that the content of magnesium chloride is at least 43% or more, potassium ion is less than or equal to 0.5%, sodium ion is less than or equal to 0.5%, and sulfate ion is less than 2%. According to the different requirements of magnesium chloride manufacturers, some parameters will be more stringent.
Magnesium chloride for industry use cannot be used for food and medicine. It is mainly used for testing reagents in special industries. In building materials, such as glass magnesium board, glass fiber tile, sanitary ware, floor tiles, ceilings and other boards, it can be used as decoration board, cement, etc. in magnesite products.
Industrial-grade magnesium chloride is used as a snowmelting agent in the transportation industry, or as a part of other snowmelting agents; it is also used in aquatic products, shrimp, crabs, and animal husbandry in the aquaculture industry; as a natural decolorizer in dyeing plants; as a simple coagulant during processing.
